2010 TEAM PLAY!
21CS is excited to announce its all-new Team Play! program! Our Team Play! program will consist of baseball teams in the 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U & 14U age groups and will be based in Westchester County. Each of these age brackets will participate in spring, summer and fall leagues consisting of anywhere between 25-50 games per season, depending upon the season and age bracket. Players will have the option of participating in 1, 2, or all 3 seasons. The 2010 Spring Season is set to begin at the end of March, with tryouts taking place in January at various sites throughout Westchester County.
The mission of our Team Play! program is to provide an environment that effectively balances the need for competitive baseball against other local talent - which is critical to maximize young players' development - with the need for detailed skill instruction from a highly qualified and professional coaching staff (see the "Meet Our BASEBALL-ELITE Staff" page on the left). Perhaps most importantly, our coaches will demand the establishment of a setting that honors universal values such as hard work, positive cooperation with others and learning how to respond from performance failure (Sport Psychology techniques), with the end goal of striving to assist your child in his quest for optimal athletic development.
Team Play! at each of these levels is scheduled to begin in March 2010, with tryouts taking place this January at various sites throughout Westchester. Expansion at the 15U and 16U levels - including the opportunity for players and families to take advantage of our College Advisory & Prep Services - is scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2010.
